Erik Haselhorst, O.D.

Erik Haselhorst, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2022 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Texas A&M University in 2006.

Dr. Haselhorst specializes in geriatrics and diabetic eye care. While in elementary school, the mother of one of Dr. Haselhorst’s friends was a practicing O.D. Observing her patient care skills, the diversity of the patient’s eye care needs, and the challenges that this profession could present on any day inspired Dr. Haselhorst to become an optometrist.

Now that Dr. Haselhorst is an optometrist, he enjoys educating patients about their vision and ocular health, helping them understand what he sees during an eye exam and the best ways to maximize the health of their sight.
