Dr. Haselhorst specializes in geriatrics and diabetic eye care. While in elementary school, the mother of one of Dr. Haselhorst’s friend was a practicing O.D. After observing her patient care skills, the diversity of the patient’s eyecare needs and the challenges that this profession could present on any day inspired Dr. Haselhorst to become an optometrist.

Now that Dr. Haselhorst is an optometrist, he enjoys educating patients about their vision and ocular health, helping them understand what he sees during an eye exam and the best ways to maximize the health of their sight.
