Shelly Collins

As a native Texan, Dr. Shelly Collins, O.D. was valedictorian of her graduating class at Harlingen High School. She attended Texas A&M University through her junior year before transferring to the University of Houston. Dr. Collins earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, and a Doctorate in Optometry, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston. At the University of Houston, she was a member of Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society, and Beta Sigma Kappa, the international optometric honor society. Dr. Shelly Collins is a therapeutic optometrist and a certified glaucoma specialist. Following graduation, Dr. Collins opened an optometric practice in Oak Hill. She then joined Innovative Eyecare in 2002.
